Poet and Prominent member of the Urdu Academy of North America Arshad Rashid formally inaugurated his first collection of poetry on January 25, 2025.
The event was held at the Chandni Restaurant, Newark, CA.
Name of Arshad Rashid’s first poetry collection is NAIRANG-E-WAJOOD.
The event was attended by a large number of people and relatives of Arshad Rashid from far and near.
Tashie Zaheer, President of the Urdu Academy was main speaker at the event.
After the speeches a number of singers presented Arshad Rashid’s poetry melodiously. At the end Syed Sarwat amused the audience with his melodious voice.
